0pinions on Equipment Unlimited in Oklahoma

Well- the description says Hi-Flow but the badging doesn't bear that out. FWIW- That Co. shows up in a lot of Google search with Manta, D&B, etc. D&B says started 2003. Seems legit from that respects. But as mentioned the 289D seems cheap.

Snowblower Tractor- someone plowed into me

Our shop is often dealing with adjusters on trailer valuations. Most common method is to get online & search For Sale ads for a comparable unit. I suspect that might be a challenge for your equipment. Don't forget about transportation, as a tractor in Minnesota must be transported to AK for it...

    Flail mower blades

Maybe too late- but Rowmec Eqpt in Texas always gets mentioned in a FB group for mulching guys.

Need New Tracks - CAT 299D

Wonder what kind of fees the dealer tacks on for disposal of the old tracks? I am amazed at the various "environmental" charges my Cat dealer can add to the bottom of an invoice.... A basic car tire around here is $2 actual disposal fee plus $2.50 disposal tax.

Big Tex 7x16 14K Trailer - Newbie Questions

My boat has a solenoid in the brake line that closes when the truck's reverse lights come on. Otherwise, there's no backing up without scrubbing something. But- it is disc, not drum. Just FWIW.

Cat 3116 Fuel Issues- help please

Wanted to update- and a huge Thanks! for the help. Most of the lines were already replaced with rubber, but we replaced them anyway. Found a generic screen/sock for the pickup and swished/flushed the rust out of the tank as well as possible. Still no better. So grabbed a generic low volume low...

Cat 3116 Fuel Issues- help please

Thanks Delmar. But with it idling for an hour, we figured that we'd gotten prime established. Is the block mounted filter (the Cat one so to speak) before or after the fuel pump? I'm not at the truck right now to trace the line.

Cat 3116 Fuel Issues- help please

Hello. Will try and keep this brief. 1997 Chev C-6500 with 3116 Cat and 6Sp. Engine AR#106-7877. 185HP. This is an old flatbed dump on the Christmas Tree farm. No tags, no insurance, never sees the road. And we aren't mechanics. :) Has started and run great for years. Got low on fuel, and when...

    Okada torque spec?

I have an Okada OKB 302 breaker for my skiddy. Using it, and one of the 4 side rods broke right at the nut. Got one from Okada easily enough (but seems to have cost waaay more than it should). But- anyone have any ideas on torque spec? Don't have it in front of me, but about a 5/8" diameter rod.

Any tire recommendations for my 14k rated dump trailer?

I will share that as a trailer dealer, we see the 235/85R16 "G" Sailun fairly regularly and get good reports on it. Nice tread pattern for even wear.

Road grading with a "Roadrunner" front end skis steer attachment

I ended up buying one of these- https://www.grademax.net/skid-max Can't say as I've used it much on a drive/road. Rather I have a large gravel parking lot, that has a drive in it it (equipment sales yard with a driveway going down the middle). It has been good at quickly loosening gravel &...

Good thoughts guys. Hadn't thought of the plate. That would be the easiest.

    Ripper storage rack?

OK- have a ripper for my midi excavator. 24" tall and 250#. So either you stick it in the ground, or it lays down making it hard to use the quick connect. Anyone ever make a frame/rack to hold theirs upright when not in use? And maybe even can be moved with your forklift? I'm seeing some designs...

    Excavator mounted Diamond rotary mowers

Just my opinion, but having run an AFE disc mulcher a bit, listen to Tree Muncher- Lexan. I don't believe when "that piece" hits, the stretched metal will do the trick. I run Cats with the lexan door, and havve sat there before in a holy shiite, how did that door not collapse. I have found 2"...

    Cat 299D3 Code Meaning?

Thanks. My Cat guy did respond, and as you guys mentioned asked me to change the DEF. There is purported to be a drain for the tank you see as soon as lift the cab. It is probably time to clean under there again, so I picked up a jug of DEF a few minutes ago. Now to find a shade tree.
