    Not-for-hire hauling of CTL's

I am 99% sure that a non commercial class A is required when towing a trailer over 10,000 lbs. any state driver license should state < or > than 10,000 lb towing on them. I was just at a dinner with a maryland state police officer that runs in our local scale house. I was picking his brain about...

    Adjusting highflow hyd pressure down?

It looks a little busy but it was actually easy to do. Installed hyd splitter valve on post driver and plug tilt attach into the valve. Left joystick button activates the tilt when needed. All good to go.

Gave my D6 a little love

After Welder Dave got me hooked up with plans for a Flop root rake, the amount of work I was getting done in a day compared to just an excavator and a CTL. Gave my D6 a little love

I am putting radiant heat in the floor and since I have access to large stainless steel plates 8'X22' 3/16 thick, I will just lay those down in the bays that I will be driving in on. This is on my farm so its not heavy use in or out.

Gave my D6 a little love

If I was going to be doing a lot of skidding I would add the top roller to lift up the logs ends more so to save the choker wear and less rutting of the roads. I don’t have much logging to do and I was using the original 3/4 cable with hook and several choker chains. It drug 4-5 logs behind it...

    Adding a steerable lift axle

Good job, That would have been about a $7000 service job. Just make sure you have cut enough out of the body crossmember to allow tire clearance with tire turned and bottomed out. Your kit should have came with a valve that uses the reverse light power wire to raise automatically when you put...
