    Hose making

I own a rental company and went to A&I products and bought a machine and some fittings for my own equipment. Word spread and now I seem to do a lot of hoses and all the cylinders in town. It cost a good bit of money but you'll make that back pretty soon. Another company call Royal Brass can...

    Takeuchi TW80 Loader

I've had the Atlas AR65 loaders for 13 years and just bought a TW65 a month ago. They are built like a Mercedes. No rattles, the pins and bushings don't wear out with 3000 hours and they run strong. My new TW65 is pretty new but I'm sure it will be a great machine for a long time.

Survey - cost to reseal a cylinder

http://herculesus.com/pages.php?pageid=56# Above is the place to get the swing seal kit for $70.00. We use these guys for everything and if they don't have what you want they can make it. Sometimes we just send them a used kit in fair shape and they match it up and send us back as many as we...

ingersoll rand vr 638 won't move

I've had the same thing and it took 2 days to figure it out. It was a VR530 and i think we had to replace the brake valve and or maybe the F-R lever.

    Up in Flames

The Yanmar was a 2005 with 700 hours and we have done nothing to it except routine service. Never any electrical issues or anything and for once i used my insurance and they were great. Very surprised about that. They paid full replacement cost so i really made out on that one.

    Up in Flames

I asked the same thing but there were no storms that night. Now what i do is park all my older units in one spot close together so if one goes they all go.

    Up in Flames

I thought you guys might find this interesting. 2005 Yanmar CBL 40 backhoe with 700hr parked 3 days in one spot and on the 4th day while out of town (of course) the machine caught fire. I've been doing this for 35 years and have never ever had a machine just catch fire. We did no electric...

    Buying Equipment Online

I had a customer interested in a used compact tractor and i wanted to show him exactly what he was buying since he's taking from FL to Ohio. I took a video of the complete machine with it running and had him look at it on You tube and he bought it. No surprises and it was described exactly the...

    Thumb Hydraulic question

I had a customer bring in his little excavator and had me do some welding to it. It failed and started leaking. Come to find out his son had his friend try to weld it first and he did weld the piston to the barrel. On the hydraulic thumbs that mount on with the stick bucket pin you must...

    Buying Equipment Online

I bought about 50 units at auctions over the years and i spend about 20 minutes operating it, checking oil, looking for leaks, dead heading the hydraulics, checking pin wear and i still find things i missed that cost me money. Every time i don't test a machine and just raise my hand because it...
