I asked this question on another thread but didn't really get an answer. What is your hourly rate for snow plowing? With a pickup truck? With a compact tractor with loader and rear blade or rear blower?

    Snow Plowing

I know of you guys plow snow in the winter when work slows down. I was just wondering that you charge an hour for a pickup truck with a plow? What do you charge an hour for hand shoveling? Things are going to be tight this winter for dirt work so everyone need to be creative to help subsidize...

    Compacting pond levy

NO this is not the standard way to compact dirt. If there would have been an inspector on the job he would not have passed the job. You should have used a jumping jack or whacker (that's what we call them here in PA) With out proper compaction you risk a blowout. Plus if you had an inpector...

Hey HEF!!! [Currently in School for HEO]

Welcome to PA. I live in Pottstown just south of Pennsburg. Things are slow here for the construction industry. Do they speak English in Iceland? You do not need a license to operate heavy equipment here in Pa. Send me a private message and maybe I can help you out with some more info.

    Bad Dream

one good push...just kidding Real story: Last year while driving to work I saw a tri axle dump cross the center lane and graze a power pole. I stopped to help along with other people. It took four of us to get the guy out of the truck. When I climbed into the passenger side of the truck...
