    TD-15c questions

Well, I scored a 1984 td15c with a carco f-50 wench this summer. For 8500.00 hundred bucks and 48 yards of 2" rock I got the dozer a 85 ford tri axle dump and a 80's international 4900 water truck. I used the dozer a bit until the cobbed up mess that was holding the right track frame to the...

difference between belly dumps clam dump locations length wise vs cross frame locatio

There was a long discussion on this somewhere on here. But it really depends on what you are doing. Cross gate dumps are getting hard to come by these days. My company uses cross gates to build roads in the mountains where there are long steep hauls and hard to get to areas. These trailers are...

    Early JD 544 questions

I just picked up a 644A I think about 72 vintage. Real clean loader. I just can not get used to the transmission. It will spin the tires going into a pile but does not seem to have any travel speed. I have found that you have to come to a complete stop. I guess we have come a long way in...

    D8T ripping Rock?

There is not a single large hoe within 400 miles to rent. I don't know the the volocity of the rock. I can use the dozer for other parts of this project which would help my bottom line. My 250 kolbelco was doing as good as the 315 when trying to chunk it out.

    D8T ripping Rock?

I have been working on a site preperation job for about a week now and we have encountered a rock bluff right where the house foundation is going. The rock is a mixture of decomposing granite and hard granite. I have to take it down about 6' in back and 3' in the front. The pad is about 75' by...

    chainsaw thread

Around my property, you can still see the hugh stumps that have the notches cut in them from the spring boards. Some are almost rotted to nothing but still pretty neat. Some are 60" or better at the base.

    Mobile credit card processing?

I started using my phone too. I have the receipts emailed to the customer. But I bank with a credit union and I can call them and they will process the card if I need them too. They do not charge me a dime. :D No bounced checks cash in the bank.

It's not rayco or Hendrickson it is KW stamped on them with leaf springs. Not a walking beam ect. I will post...

    KW spring suspension

I have a early 80's W900 transfer dump truck with KW spring suspension. Well over several million miles the hangers and springs are shot. I can locate the springs but the hangers are really expensive from KW. They have wore out almost to the outsides. Does anyone out there know where I can get a...
