Case TV380 Moves backwards on its own, STOP light lit up

Is there a spec for this? Would like to have my 440$3 tuned.

    New Volvo L50F

Rille, have been looking at some 2009-10 50F's and wondered what I need to be concerned about? The hours are in the 6000-7000 hour range. Thinking about picking up one of these instead of a big skidsteer. Thanks!

    case sv185 huge dissapointment

I don't know if anyone is completely 'brand neutral'? All I know is my experience with what I'm running(Case and the little Polaris/ASV). The service as always been great but have not had any luck with the sales guys and run Case in spite of them. I would like to try a Case/NH E/H long term...

    case sv185 huge dissapointment

I will admit in a wheeled machine the E/H controls are not right, even when 'tuning' them. The loader functions are great but the travel just doesn't have a 'center' if that makes sense? I would hope CNH is doing everything possible to get it right ASAP but also know others haven't had smooth...

    New Kobelco SK55 SR-X

I would like to see a blue Kobelco also. How has it been working out for you?

    Snow tires?

Yep, thats the one to talk to.

New Case 270 On The Way

Looks good! I have struggled with the side to side thing big time when trying one out. I like how the loader functions are when set though.

    Michelin Tweel

Thanks, It does seem like a lot but compared to how much the semi-solid tires are. Not having to worry about flats is big. Wonder how much the retreading will be and how long the tread lasts? If you could get ten years out of a set with retreading it a few times then it may not be bad...

    Snow tires?

The set I got and how they seem to be sold here is compete, you get the tires and rims for $1300-1400. I think the tire place that is doing them uses a truck rim with a skid center welded in.

    Michelin Tweel

It sure does look cool. So a full set if I understand right is $1000 per tire?

    Snow tires?

I'm running 19.5 truck tires, don't remenber the size offhand. They seem to get a lot better traction than regular skid tires and also pickup some speed. You can get 22.5 sized to really scoot... When it's all ice they still aren't perfect.

    New Holland w80btc.......

I really liked the 'feel' of the Case(or sister NH versions) small loaders and think they are great for snow work if you have the work for them.

    New Holland w80btc.......

I would love to have one but just doesn't make sense moneywise for me. I like the specs on the 321E(or even the 221) as long as it has the high speed option.

    Case 70XT hydro

I had a '03 70XT for two years, great machine but not having the two speed(and cab/heat...) for me was a deal breaker. Was very powerful though and a good machine for someone that wanted a basic work horse.

From A New Holland LS-150 Skid Steer To?

I would say check out a Takeuchi 120 or 130(or their 'sister' versions in Mustang and Gehl).

    Topsoil Screener Advise

What kind of yardage are you wanting to do? We've used the Thomas 400 screener and it's been good when the black dirt is not too wet and it's so cheap to rent it doesn't pay to own it. I've always wanted to try an Orbit screener.

    Tracks Vs Tyres

One thing I wonder is also, I'm not racking up that many hours so that may be a big asterisk? I wouldn't say I'm in 'harsh' conditions also. As for snow, I agree with you that tires are king and much cheaper.

    New Excavator Purchase considerations.

For your third one, they should throw ya a bone. I guess another way to think about it is would you rather have a new TK with a mower/mulcher or one of those evil yellow colored hoes?

    New Excavator Purchase considerations.

That is a major improvement on the hyd. flow, has to be class leading now? What other things did TK improve? Has to be a little tough picking between the machines?

    Tracks Vs Tyres

I know most people, okay everyone would say that is at the least a provocative or crazy claim but from what I have experienced I feel it's true. I think it performs much like the ASV type undercarriage. From my experience the CTL's can't handle any soft ground like the VTS, the VTS seems to...
