    LEE-BOY 8515 - 700Hrs - Bogie wheels and sprocket already wasted, and pads wearing heavy on right-side. Anyone else having this issue? How'd you fix it? Thanks in advance.

    I would say yes, just from a safety stand-point. Plus, if the hydraulic lines were to suddenly loose preasure, you avoid the damage from that much weight coming to sudden stop "crash".

    I was wondering if the speed / rate of material laydown could be a possible cause - Seems plausable if certain areas are more dense than others, then when the rollers come through, well maybe we end-up with better compaction in some areas that in others. - Hmmm . . . food for thought.

    I've had contractors us the PC to get EM through the day, put they have to keep a good stock of elastomers on stand-by cause they eventually over-tax the compactor when they hit the hard stuff.
