Deere control problems worked out yet?

Only control issue I've ever heard of is that the H-pattern in the e/h is a bit funky. The system is optimized for ISO, since that's by far the preferred pattern. If you run in ISO, you should be very satisfied. The demo you have on your lot is a lot more valuable than any post on this forum...

Choosing between CTLs and would welcome any input

Not true. Panels are easily slid out the back with the boom all the way down. Dipstick is up top with all other fluid fills with the hood open. Access to major components is by far better than most.

    daves thread

"greasing it will have to be more of a priority than it was with the bobcat. on our bobcat, of course, all the bushings are completely gone and the wear is now on the pins and way beyond the bushings on the cylinders and such. everything is loose" This is just one of dozens of examples in this...

you must be mistaken.... "the boom on the jcb is rock solid. there is no flexing."

    New Holland C175

There's a reason it's that cheap. Not a very well received machine.

Anybody know how to get CT332 track motor parts?

FYI "TheDirtGirl": D-series Deere's are rebuildable and offer service parts since 2010. Sucks on the older machines but issue has been addressed by Deere.

    Deere 320D VS Bobcat S205

They are both good machines. If you have a good relationship with the Deere dealer, buy the Deere. Read through this forum all the "which machine to buy" threads and it always comes down to dealer service being as important, if not more so, than the machine itself. The counterweights on a...

The float out of range code will come up if you hold the float trigger instead of just pushing forward to the stop and clicking it once.

    Ride Control for JD 328D

It was available dealer installed prior to the D-series. Was told it is not approved yet for the d's, but my local dealer has installed it on 2 320D's for a customer and it works fine. It's a simple system, so really any dealer that deals with ride control on any machine should be able to put...

    Deere or Hitachi minis

also might be relevant to remember that you have a 25 year old lawn mower (junk as you say, but still going after that long unlike 90% of the mowers that age) and that parts availability for a piece that old might not be the same as for something built in the last 10 years. Also looks like...

Trying Again.... JD 250 Skid steer?

That's a good deal. There are plenty of those early 250's out there going stong with thousands of hours on them.

    John Deere 7775 Questions

They were known for really good fuel economy. Good machines overall.

To answer your question: yes, you've got a big bill coming. Like KSSS said, that engine is smoked.

    Deere 323D Opinions

Thing on the 323D is, there really isn't any machines in a mid frame in that lift class other than the NH 175, so it's hard to get a real basis for comparison against most of the other colors. My time in 322's, i was very impressed with that machine's performance.

    Takeuchi vs John Deere

The Deere U/C is very well built and wears very well. Know several guys w/ 2000 + hrs and no U/C repairs. Great pushing and lifting machines. I have a lot of hours in CT322's and they are very good performers for their size. Have run the new 323D's, but not enough to really give much...

    how are duetz motors?

I see you're in Minnesota. If you're looking at a machine with a heater, don't plan on being overly warm in there in the winter. The oil cooled Gehl's will not put out much heat and in cold weather can be tough starting. The "Block heater" is actually a "maintainer", meaning that once you're...

How bad did I screw up???

Back to the fuel in the oil issue: I wouldn't worry about damaging anything with that small amount. All it's going to do is very slightly thin out your hydraulic fluid. Diesel has lubricity to it unlike gasoline, so you're really not going to hurt anything. Would still probably change it at...
