    more pics of equipment stuck!

These are some pics I got from a friend that works at the FD. Their swift water rescue helped hook up some of the lines for recovery. I heard he was along a path and somehow starting sliding down the side into the green river.

New Deere 764 High Speed Dozer

What is the top speed of a conventional tracked dozer? Doesn't seem to be fast.

From Tacoma: Luzon coming down Saturday AM

Too add to my statement, I would rather see something there helping our economy then a rickety old building anyway. Tearing it down = Jobs Building something = Jobs Complete Building = Business(es) = Jobs -- John, where is the news video you saw? I would be interested to see it.

New Deere 764 High Speed Dozer

Isn't their big draw on that for military applications? It can get places fast, and work faster then a conventional dozer.

    Blade?

What exactly could you use the slope blade for? It can't possibly move much dirt, it is only a foot or two tall. Or am I looking at it wrong, I was assuming that the slope blade is in a "raised" position? -- Here is another photo I took of it. Which proves my theory that it is in a raised...

    Stupid Question of the Day

Thanks for the drawing, I see how it works now. That is actually a brilliant design.

From Tacoma: Luzon coming down Saturday AM

Unless someone is going to pay allot of money to restore it, and stabilize it, I don't see why it can't come to the ground anyway, might as well do it safely then possibly having it fall down on something, or someone.

    Stupid Question of the Day

But there are two motors, so wouldn't there need to be 4 lines running down? So that each motor can run independently? I'm still confused.

    Stupid Question of the Day

So the valves for the specific directions are in the under carriage, so all this thing is doing is sending pressurized oil down there, not controlling anything?

    Stupid Question of the Day

That could get dangerous if you were on top of a pile or something and didn't know you were going to run out of swing, track you right off the top.

Extra part of a trailer tongue? (split from a thread in the "test" forum)

Oh, I see. Thanks! What I find weird, is that Manitowoc is on a 3 axle trailer. And this excavator is on a 3 axle trailer with a 3 axle jeep. Both of them are in the State of Washington, so same axle reqs.
