    I am trying to find out what is similar between a case 530 and a case 580b. I am looking at a potential parts machine that is a 530. I heard that the loader is the same. Is this correct? how about the brakes, the rears, etc? does anyone know what will interchange? thanks Dave

    why not just get an old military truck? You could get a 6x6 tractor or a 6x6 dump. Depending on what you are looking for. But their the top speed is 50 MPH

    The weight of the machine depends on what it is equipped with. Gas or diesel? Shuttle or dry clutch or hydrostatic. Full cab or open rops.

    Oops, how to repair seat? case 580C

    I had my seat fly apart on me. The best way I found was to put the seat all the way to the up position as far out as it would go and then put the spring on the bottom part. with two people walk the seat together and bolt it back together. It took a little bit but it works.

    I put a gauge in line and the pressure was 1500 psi at 1750 RPM. I turned the pressure up to 2000 psi and it works alot better. thanks.

    the shuttle is the transmission filter. What do you mean by gear oil? for the transmission or for the final drives/ differential? the differential takes 4 gal. not sure on the transmission
