    The biggest little machine

They are even more impressive with a set of Logerian track systems. They are almost unstoppable.

    the troubles of rubber tracks

Wow normally the ASV's are very light footed especially the 4810. What kind of tracks are on the ASV PT-100? They don't look like the Posi-Track standard track pattern.

    asv

That RC-30 looks good. One day I will add one to my equipment list for those very tight jobs. For now if I have a super tight job my TL130 can't fit in I just rent a Ditch Witch walk behind machine and that gets it down but not as comfortable as a RC-30 would.

    Little exhaust valve pic

In my diesel and auto class in high school they had a valve out of a train that wasn't that big but very close to it and it just amazed me.

    Rain day= work photos

That is sad to hear. I take it he died? I hate to hear something like that happening to a person just trying to earn a honest living.

    Compact Track Loader Track Life?

For your kind of work a Cat or ASV would be the better choice. They are more kind to grassy areas and give you a smooth ride on blacktop. The steel belted rubber tracks are more durable in rougher conditions such as heavy wet clay or rocky type soils but tear up grass more and are rougher on the...

    Caterpillar Backhoe Loader

434E that is it. I want one bad. That would dominate the market if they would offer it in the states. I love the side shift boom. It sure would help when moving dirt with the front bucket in tight areas. I always have to turn the boom sideways to not hit anything but then the machine is not...

    Caterpillar Backhoe Loader

I wanna see the video about the all wheel steer and the new side shift boom and the new one with the same size tires all the way around like the JCB. That is the Cat back hoe I like.

NEW cat c-series skid-steer and multi terrain loader

I agree with you the new track systems are nothing compared to the old 267 and 277 style. They could almost walk on water and gave a level of suspension that no other machine could ever give. None of the new Cats or ASVs have as good of flotation or smooth ride like the older models did.

    Locust skidsteer video

http://www.bulldog-usa.com/ Found a website now got to find a dealer. They look very useful in certain applications. I could think of allot of places it would be good in beside just loading trucks.

    What would you get?

I agree to test them both but when it comes to wheel machines I am partial toward Case. They are strong and reliable and have great dealer support.

    953c junk?

I usually run them all the time in rabbit, they have safety blockers on the pumps to keep you from harming anything, according to the local dealership. Their was 953C's where I used to work that had over 7,000 Hrs. and never had any troubles and they where ran ever hour in rabbit digging...

Burnout's not the only one that can tear up a city street.

I am just glad to see someone else using a track loader for jobs. I think track loaders are more of a East coast thing. I like that shot of the dual cylinders on that 973. I want to run one some day. I learned on a 1984 963 and I thought that thing was a beast. Other than that it has been 953B's...

What is your favorite loader to run? and why?

953C was always my favorite. With the flat edge on the back bottom of the bucket allows you to drag off a yard and make it look like a dozer did it. Love them they are a perfect all around loader that is still light on it's feet. I learned on a 1984 963 and I love the power of the 963 but the...

Oh BOY!Look what I found at the local Deere dealer...

I wish they would have ran the glass all the way down the door. With that metal at the lower part of the doors you have limited visibility out the sides. I still prefer the new Cat 953D and 963D. They have just about perfected them now.

    Hyundai Excavators good or bad?

Just the other day I rented a Komatsu 210 from Sunbelt Rentals and let me say it was done in the rental fleet. It was a 99 model with only 7,000 Hrs on it. The bucket had horrible slop in it. The turn knob throttle was messed up which they had to come out and disable it so I could keep running...

    Cat 277

Just a standard digging bucket with teeth. Done right with good dry dirt I can make it look like the landscapers ran a power rake over the yard. They love coming in behind me to rake and seed a yard. They always know they won't have much work to do.

    High track crawler loader?

High track designs seem to be on their way out. Cat is introducing flat track models in the higher level machines now according to the pictures from Con Expo. High tracks really don't have many advantages over the standard flat track. They are costing allot more because of all the extra steel...

    From Demolition to Land Clearing

That is a nice setup. Like you said all the dirt falls out so no dirt in the burn pile.

anyone ever seen anything like this before!?!

That is crazy. I wouldn't run that thing for any money. I bet the building moves allot every time that guy swings the machine around. It doesn't make sense, destroy the building that is holding you up?
