    International/Dresser is now supported by Komatsu. Son had td7-c (sold it about 10ths ago) naturally aspirated and with large transmission (short driveline between torque converter and tranny).     I’ve also heard that drawing high volume from smaller acetylene cylinders can pull out the acetone…creating dangerous condition. I’ve use the cutting head to heat but then bought oxy/propane setup for cutting and for rosebud tip

    Previous owner of my Deere track loader did that to a cylinder. Full circumference weld. It works but, after I’ve had it for 8 years, beginning to leak at seal. Shopping boneyards for complete replacement.

    May be a couple issues going on. Milky transmission fluid not good. Not sure why would go from pulling fine to not. After being in water, I believe our thoughts were clutches wet and slipping. There is the clutch between the engine and transmission and also steering clutches on each drive that...

    Or steering clutches, too? There are pipe plugs that fit in the bottom of the final drive cases. I have B model and mine are removed. Hopefully you can dry things out and she’ll be back to normal. Maybe run on the flat without a load and, if there is slipping, will warm and dry out fiber discs.

    Found receipt. Parts came from Deere. Not much to them. There is a seal around the shaft the yoke attaches to.

    Gosh, it was 4 yrs ago I did those- no leaks but weak “power assist.” If you use the Deere link and scroll to the part number, you usually get sites w the part…sometimes Deere, sometimes other vendors. I think Deere has had most of the seals I’ve needed.
