    Snow tires

Always just chained up the tires if extra traction was needed. Much much cheaper than new tires! Heck you could buy chains for a small fleet of FELs for the cost of just ONE tire. We put A tire on the 988 where I used to work and it was about $10,000. A 966 sold at the last auction here for...

    Serial Number on 855 Cummins

I'm trying to find my engine serial. Cummins 855 big cam in an 81 International 2574. The data tag on the side of the timing cover is missing. Everyone keeps saying it will be stamped in the block on the driver's side near the 3rd head. Well I can't find it. I pulled off the dog house...

Make sure ya'll are using Bonded Fuel Hoes on transfer tanks

Bonded "hoes". Sorry but I just had to laugh! I'm just picturing a girl working a corner and "customers" pulling up and asking is she is licensed, bonded and insured.

    1987 Gmc 7000 wiring info

I'm not sure what IHPY means. The tags in the glovebox should have gear ratio, axle type and weight rating, 2 speed or single, etc. Jack one side of the rear of the truck off the ground and see if it turns with the truck in neutral. It shouldn't if it has a locker or limited slip. I've...

Faster warm up in the cold

I could have sworn the 03s and up had a PTO setting that allowed them to high idle. Ran through the cruise buttons? Maybe I'm thinking of something else.

    My biggest PET PEAVE!!!

People that post on here with horrible spelling/grammar. No it doesn't need to be perfect but at least a 3rd grade level would be nice! People that post on here with almost no info expecting to get help. "My truck won't start, what is wrong with it?" Hmm... What truck? Engine?, etc...

    Mileage charges

I think this is what your trying to say? (I'm asking because the way you have it laid out is confusing) All service calls = charged 2hrs labor minimum. Over 40 miles = $3.00/mile. Are most of your jobs in a 40 mile radius?
