    Old axles were welded in place. New ones and update version u cut old axles out and weld a sleeve/tube in and the axle floats side to side and rotates in the tube. Great design I know... problem is torturing the nuts as it wants to spin. Any decent welder can weld new axle in.

    DPF cleaning is only $250 bucks around here in VA so as long as it's only dirty it can be cleaned. 95% of the time turbos failure causes oil entry and costs to catalyst and failure occurs. Why I stress checking turbos and air filters!!

    Nige is correct. I'm doing this retrofit on 2 299s as we speak. I've been emailing CAT production to request replacement rod end bearings for years. All other cylinders have them and the loader arms so why not tilt rod ends.

    What was the strainer full of? Did you cut open the filter trans filter? 53 psi definitely low in my opinion compared to foreword pressure. Most likely a plugged office in the solenoid valve

    Rt82 A and B models used to take 10w30 in the exciter housing. All the new ones only Grease and plastic drive gears from what I have worked on for the last 15 years as diesel tech.

    JLG 2646ES no drive or steering

    You can purchase the JLG analyzer for like a hundred bucks. You can connect to the machine read fault codes, test limit switches etc. Very useful tool to have. Can perform calibration also.

    Take your old one to dealership and see if they would put it on a test machine to verify it's bad? Check wiring on machine. It runs over CaT data link and can network twisted pair wiring. Check for 59 ohms on both twisted pairs and battery,positive 12v and good grounds!!

    Cat diesel tech here DPF can just be reset in CAT et in about 5 minutes. 3000 maintenance interval and I don't recall CAT paying for a "maintenance item".     Most display issues I've seen have been from lose connection at battery. Usually after a PM has been performed from removing the positive battery cable to get access to the oil filter on some models. Screen can be reset with the first and last button pushed.

    No I haven't swapped lines. The pump should load for opening and closing correct? All that would do us power to make it clamp jus reverse if it opening. When I move the joystick to the right the left pedal I can feel move slightly?? I really need to figure this out so all help is appreciated....
