    Fuel Cost

So remember 15yrs ago when fuel was $5 gal? With inflation and current trends $8 gal is a reality. Ittl get to the point where you'll make more money going broke on the couch than going to work. SSHD front diff repair

The front power divider section from a SQ/SL will bolt on the front of the SS. Id pull the whole carrier and take it all down. Parts are cheap to buy at this point. I still run a set of SQHD's. Depending on your area buildable cores are getting thin as they are so old and obsolete. I would...

    D7e fan removal

So you dont have to pull the cross tube. Loosen the bolts but keep the nuts on a couple threads for safety. Use the blade hyd to push the tube up and back out of the way. Worked on my D6C enough so I could get the assy out. If your bolts aren't long enough and interference isn't a problem with...

DuroForce Steel Tracks for Cat CTL. Any good??

Low hours out of a bridgestone track? The cheaper tracks usually yield the same get what you pay for rule of thumb. Even if your hard on things and do not follow proper undercarrage long life rules most people see 1000hrs. 2500ish here. 360 turns, loading the insides of the track with rocky...

    Mobilization prices for compact equipment.

Well think about it. You have just as much if not more tied up into transport equipment than the machine. Not to mention license and commercial auto plus 10 tires or more. And to top all that off it gets run a hour a day but the costs are still there. However you can get paid thats how ya do it.

is a quad really worth the extra money

Your wear and tear goes way up with every pusher you add. Going down the road the with the wheels down they drive nice. Less weight on the steer. They will eat tires compared to your tandem or tri. Off road with the wheels up they are hard on frames from twisting and they get stucker faster...

    NTC 400

I've never monkeyed with a 475 but aren't they mvt. If the travel is the same they would be flowed for some good power. Your gonna want 230cc or so and at least 200psi of rail pressure. Id throw the pump and injectors from the 475 in and see what she dose. Years back I built a mechanical N14...
