    Telelect commander digger derrick

Dayexco, Thanks for the information. I always thought they were built in Minnesota, but that might have been back when dinosaurs roamed the earth. Also, I tried to look at the photobucket site you have on your response, but it came up empty. Maybe your bucket has a hole in it! SEO

    Telelect commander digger derrick

Hi, I'm hoping to find some information on digger derrick machines. I recently bought a mid-1980's Telelect commander c-130. I'm looking for two things: 1) maintenance/operator's manual 2) This machine came without the "jib" or sliding extension, or whatever you want to call it. I'd like to...

SurferJoe, Thanks for the response. I'll check the check valve, and hope for good results.

    3208 no injection

Actually the filter is a spin-on with a drain tap on the bottom. Not a plastic one like John Deere tractors. Assuming that it's airlocking, do the individual injectors need to have air bled out of the lines like an old Cat, or is it like a Detroit or later Cat, and will purge itself? SEO

    Single axle with lift

I once had a 1966 Ford 700 with what must have been the ultimate cheapskate tag axle arrangment. The tag bolted to the frame, and cantilevered off the rear of the back axle leaf springs. The "actuator" was a pair of ramps that you set behind the tag wheels, and then backed up until the tag...

    3208 no injection

I just recently bought an elderly '84 Ford LN8000 with 5-2 with a Telelect boom. It has always cranked right up and started fine. Today it did not. It is fairly cold, maybe 25F degrees at night, 40F days. New battery, cranks fine. I thought it is just cold blooded, and gave it a shot of ether...

Alco, Is that because an excavator is: a) cheaper b) faster c) more reliable d) does a better final job I should admit here that I have almost no experience with excavators. I work around dredging projects where the primary tool is a clamshell bucket on a crane. I drive the tugboat that...

    330 Volvo

Leasing is certainly one of the options, and you make an excellent point about the risk of having a long line of irate truckers standing there while I fool around with the hydraulics. Or is it the steering? That being said, does a wheel loader seem like the logical machine for this type of job...

Big Loader Hello, I'm looking at a peculiar job that I'm trying to figure out the best machine for. Maybe someone here has some ideas... I need to remove the top 3-4 feet from a 40 acre field, which amounts to between 190,000 and 250,000 yards of material. It is all silt loam topsoil, no...

    old track loader pics

Traxcavator Now I wish that I'd taken some pictures of my Cat 933 Traxcavator before shipping it off to its new home. It was a mid-50's model, engine from a D2 complete with a pony engine about the same size as the main, 3 speed mechanical gearbox with Johnson bar. It was terribly slow and...
