    So many Case threads. Either really popular, or unreliable?

    CASE a preference they're a lighter hoe nimbler don't care for the back end plus the Cummins engine reliable and good on fuel but don't sound as good as a 4045.Deere has been making backhoe since the 50s ie base model 440,1010,300,310 etc.

    Stronger is better-Zieman 12ton hoe trailer less tare=8tons. Braking power is as important or more then hp going down the line, juice brakes on your Ford?

    Deere D series vs E and G

    The E series and above is a whole different animal than the D series. The 310 SE is a monster compared to a 310 C, more HP, more weight and just more flat out power. Waiting on the neighbor to get his 310E going to try it out: E VS SE. Go big or go home, get the 710 :) No help on the 410.

    Good ratchet straps

    The ones that actually have the DOT/WLL stamp on them are better made. I can't think of the brand of 2" at work but USCargocontrol is one I can think of, I used their four inch ratchet straps, they worked out nice. Good Luck
