s220 bobcat fuel pull relay trigger wire not energizing

Thanks for the replies! Looks like I jumped the gun and assumed replacing the controller with a new one would fix the previous problem of fuel shut off and traction lock woes before bobcat had a chance to program it. Thought programming only affected the hand controls, but I was wrong...

    Bobcat s250 cab heater???

Bobcat cabs are one of the worst layouts for aftermarket coolant heaters. I’ve installed dozens of them in other brands and find they do work very well, but agree with Ed - the electric ones are not that good. Since the cab tilts up so far on the S250 placing one in the tilt zone far away from...

s220 bobcat fuel pull relay trigger wire not energizing

2004/2005 Bobcat s220 fuel pull relay not working due to no power in wire 8110 from controller. Question is what prompts the controller to energize this wire? Controller is new.

    1845C at auction

There was an OROPS unit maybe a 2000 year model with 50 hrs on it for sale in the spring of 2020, I think. Guy wanted something like $30k for it. Was his backup unit he bought new - shows you how little his other 1845c needed repairs. Don’t know if he sold it.

    1845C at auction

I watched that auction live and have a couple thoughts: 1) every year that goes by more and more people are upset with the complexity of computers and emissions (always bellyaching about downtime and repair bills, more dealer’s service guys are incompetent and don’t care) which causes the...

    Bobcat T300 Keyless issue

Well, I think I figured it out. Both connectors at the controller had moisture build up in them. Aired both out well, and wiped some dielectric grease on them. So far so good...no hiccups.

    Bobcat T300 Keyless issue

I realize this is an old thread, but have the same intermittent prob with a 2005 - s185 ....push yellow run/enter on right panel no power. Pushing light switch on left panel energizes the run/enter switch. Got 12.6 voltage at both red/white wires at back of panels, and back at the connector...

    Wet bath or grease bearings?

You might be right, Zk. All I know is I woke up the other morning wishing I took better mental notes on the circumstances when I had to replace wheel bearings. Tired of bobcat’s design, but maybe that’s just me.

    Wet bath or grease bearings?

Zk - they sure do, but again, I’m asking for experiences here. I’ve owned and operated prob over 300 skids, worked on many more for friends and customers, and don’t end up seeing the amount of bad greased bearings in similar hours as I do wet. I’ve seen a lot of 1500 hr bobcats with bad...

    Wet bath or grease bearings?

Thanks for the reply, but I'm not looking at this issue as being a factor in buying a certain brand of machine as every machine has its pros and cons. Just wondering if people's experience with both dictates one lasts longer than the other. I've had several triple digit bobcats (wet bath) that...

    Wet bath or grease bearings?

Would like to hear anyone's experience with wet bath (bobcat) vs. greased bearings in a skid steer. Which one gets the award for longer lasting with less trouble? Are the greaseable zerks on the NH series worth having in the long run? Which one gets the award for least amount of time/ease of...

    Case 1845C

Yeah, don't worry about it, just do a hydraulic fluid/filter change and go on using it. Have you seen the selling prices of the 1845c machines lately? Almost 700 hr one in MI sold for around $27k last year.

    Bobcat 863 Deutz 1011F Overheating

Typical operating temps for me on an upper 80’s degree day **while mowing** with a 72” bushhog attachment is 200-205 degree engine oil temp and 150-160 degree hydraulic temps.

    Bobcat 863 Deutz 1011F Overheating

I've owned a ton of the deutz 1011 engines. Last one I had in a gehl was overheating. Ended up being a combination of things: fan blades were chewed up with chunks missing (still pushing plenty of air), oil cooled radiator clogged on inside face, fan belt slipping, muffler was leaking inside...

Oil coming out breather tube from valve cover s185

Also check to see if the muffler on those machines are clogged. I’ve had one or two that were, and the blow by subsided greatly when muffler was disconnected.
