    I have a 1963 302 with the 220 hoe. I took the 6 spool assembly to a repair shop thinking that it would be better to replace but the shop convinced me to repair and then gave me a bill for $1500. the machine is still original though.

    If i have enough material i try to build up a little high then cut down to a level but with a small machine i find it hard to avoid the ups and downs.

    Thats not an old hoe ! That looks like a 40 to me, I have an older version with a 220 hoe and 702 loader, I think it is a 302x it is around 1963 age
