    Deere 9520t

We just looked at a John Deere 9520t with a 15 yard pan. We currently have 3 613 and a old Michigan 110-15. The Deere is a newer tractor for a decent price, no leaks clean machine. What are your guys opinions on this machine, the ag tractor and pan is a new concept to us, any disadvantages or...

    Which CTL for pool excavation.

The cutting edge is a used grader cutting edge welded to the side of the bucket. U make your side cutting edge vertical and you trim the wall that way, it takes a bit of practice but after you get the hang of it only way to go, around here the ground is to hard 75% of the time to trim the wall...

    Which CTL for pool excavation.

It is welded to the side of the bucket. The only adjustment I get is when u roll the buck over or back. I usually use the bottom edge to get the bowls on the deep end of the pool.

    Which CTL for pool excavation.

These are the only two I have of my machine, all my other photos were on my old phone that broke. We were digging a pool and had to crane the machine over the wall. I started digging at 10:00 and the crane was lifting the machine back over at 1:00. We were having a good day that day.

    Which CTL for pool excavation.

I have ran the t770, and own the 299d2. You will notice that the cat will out dig and climb the bobcat, I fell the cat can dig a swimming pool faster, and I am not as tired at the end of the day. One thing the bobcat has that dam fan that blows out the side of the machine, which means you have...

    Which CTL for pool excavation.

We use our cat 299d2 to excavate swimming pools. We dig 4 a week, any ware from hard pan all the way down to white sand. The 299 will climb out of a ramp better than the bobcat t770, I find it digs better than the bobcat also. The cat is does not beat you up as much as the Deere or the bobcat...

    cat 299 xhd slow track

What other updates does your machine have. I am surprised it took your dealership that long to find out the drive motor update, our dealership had that solution in no time. Does your machine have the quick tach, ours had a update on that also.

    cat 299 xhd slow track

Had the same problem with our 299 d, it would not track straight in high. We took it to cat and they said there was a update on the drive motors. They put two new updated drive motors on her and she goes straight as an arrow in booth gears. Cat paid for all the repairs, just had to have our...

Bobcat 963 shutters when raising bucket

Our did not do it all the time just when we really worked it, and when it got wore out more it started to do it more and more, but not all the time. That was the one problem we had with our machine. Everything else worked good, it had plenty of power, and could dig like no other bobcat we owned.

Bobcat 963 shutters when raising bucket

Our 963g used to do the same thing when working it real hard. We changed the drive belt on her and it fixed the problem, that machine went through a bunch of drive belts. This sounds like the same prob, I would give that a try. Good luck, congrats on the new machine.

    Skid Steer + CTL Pictures!

Did you get the security lock on your machine. We are going to get our installed next week, I have a few questions before we get it installed. One person was saying you can not take off the security code, you have to enter the code every time you go to start your machine. If that is the case I...

Tutor perini has all of the cats sittin at quinn right now. That is going to be there storage yard, off of 99 were the cranes are, I would love to see the total amount of dollars they are spending on just equipment alone, those cranes are not cheap. I would believe that the rail is requiring...

    Bought a new cat

Thanks for the replies. We do mostly all kinds of excavation, demolition, and dig a couple swimming pools a week. These days a lot of house pads lately. It is very busy here, if I could only find some good help, my days would be a lot easier. Good help is not hard to find it is impossible.
