Hi Akpilot, I hope you've managed to find this as I tried to post on the white smoke thread but it got lost. Anyway Queenslander is correct , the trans oil is a 30w mono grade so there is a possiblity that is causing the slippage but I suspect it's the clutch pack plates being worn to the point... -

For your info RnR, starlings can smell where other birds have made nests the year before so hence the reason other birds always go back to the same spot. They hate diesel being sprayed over their nesting area and so go look for somewhere else. But for obvious reasons be careful where you spray... -

Hi JDDozerman, A couple fo things I maybe able to help with, first, no the 9U will not be able to push as much as a 14C or even TD15 as they only had as much push as an early D5. The D5 acted as a filler between the D4 and D6 when they upgraded the 9U to the D6b. Secondly, some ag tractors had... -

Hi Greg, Spanner has a good point on the condition of the tubes, if they are getting thin it's only a matter of time. With that said the ones in my cooler are copper so if they are thin it could be worth finding someone to rebuild it for you with new tubes? Quiet possibly cheaper than new. It... -

Hi Greg, it will be interesting to see if you find any rubbish in the heat exchanger. When I flushed ours, I got lots of old sediment from the oil, probability dating back to 2000BC, so could be the same problem for yours. Nelson. -

Interesting, when I renewed the bottom rollers quite a few of the 16mm fine threaded bolts had either stripped or I shore them off when trying to remove them, so for those I retapped them out to 18mm fine thread and it was like night/day when retightening them. In future everything will be 18mm...
