    Hauled its last load

I'm 3 miles off the main road, out in the woods hauling some logs out - I come upon this old rig left to rust away - I have no idea what it is, car or pickup ? From the look of it though, it's been sitting a long, long time - Not sure when they last used wood...

help for sick running Cummins B 3.9 ?

Last winter I thought I had icing problems with the fuel in my loader, I can pretty much bet thats not what it was as in July, I still have trouble. The picture shows what it is, hopefully, and what it's doing is running out of fuel. It'll suck the water sep. and the fuel filter half empty...

Any F350 experts on here? engine & transmission swap question

Heres what I'm looking at doing - I have 2 f350's, both 4 wd, both 137" wheelbase, both 460 ci gas. The '94 I bought new, its got 76000 miles, manual trans. frame is ready to break it's so rusty, runs like a swiss watch though. Recently bought an '88, auto trans, good solid frame [dump] same...

    o-ring wheel question

I have one thats a slow leaker, a 12:00 x 24 on my loader - Is it worth trying to fix the o-ring [soapy water shows it leaking all around there] or just put a tube in? I've done split rims, lock rings, etc, but never an o-ring.

    50 year old Trojan parts

I just wanted to pass this on - A few weeks ago I called Minnpar http://www.minnpar.com/ looking for some seals & such for my old [62] Trojan 114. I really expected the partsman to laugh when I gave him my list. He had three on the shelf, and spec'd out the other two. The box came...

Which seal is bad on the Trojan 114 ?

My old Trojan 114 has an oil leak coming out of the top of the steering column, something I'd like to fix as it sure makes a mess on the floor of the machine. If someones had something similar apart, I'd appreciate any tips before I tear into it. Thanks,

old loader slow- to- go now that it's colder

Since the weather's gotten colder, the old Trojan 114 seems to have a lot of slip in the transmission for a few to several minutes before it just works as it should. I've never worked on a transmission like it, I have no books, etc. but would like to do something with it if it's possible. Would...

    New home for old loader

I bought this old Trojan 114 this past summer, mostly for my firewood/sawmill operation. The state of New York owned it for much of it's life, the green paint covers NYS park & rec. emblems. I added on to one of my barns, as I had none with over an 8 ft doorway. Just can't stand having stuff...

master cylinder for old Trojan loader?

I bought an old Trojan 114 a few months ago, pretty good working order. The brakes work as long as you keep fluid in the master cylinder - but as you use them, it leaks out all over the floor. Makes a mess. I never had one apart, and wonder if there's seals or o-rings that can be replaced, or is...

Almost wiped out in my own shop -

Just a heads up - Late yesterday, just about time to quit, I've got a 6 ft pry bar behind a loader bucket pulling about all I can. The bar slipped, I'm on the cement floor so fast, I think gravity works faster as you age. My tailbone landed on some 2x6's, the back of my head hit the shop door...
