    GPS on Large machines ??such as D8,D9..ETC

    I do work all over Virginia and i have noticed some contractors using GPS on large dozers such as D8. How is this beneficial? I always assumed gps was most practical for smaller dozers and graders to aid in finish grading.

    Topcon Millimeter GPS vs Trimble GPS

    I am about to purchase a Base and Rover system and then eventually add machine control. Does trimble offer anything as accurate as topcons millimeter GPS? im leaning towards trimble but i want to be more than .30 accurate. any and all advice is appreciated.

    Can GPS help a young in experienced operator do quality professional grading?

    I undestand that the model is everything in machine control. But how much does the gps actually help an operator..For example can you take a operator with minimal experience and have him finish grade with a motorgrader or Dozer? or does it just benefit an operator that is already a good operator?
