Probably a dumb question but is the forward/reverse valve linkage OK ? I can answer that - very dumb question. For some reason I was thinking of the blade control linkage which is pretty shaky on my machine. gg -

The very best thing you can do bring someone with you who knows dozers and is familiar with Dresser or International Harvesters TD series. Even if you have to pay a mechanic it will be well worth it. Otherwise it will be a total gamble with your money. Parts can be very hard to find. Just my... -

Sorry, I can't help with the lift pump. Don't know for sure if a newer generic mechanical pump for a 3.9 4bt will fit or not. Looks like it could/would...... Call a shop ??? You can always put in a electric one. gg -

I use Kendall PowerShift Transmission Fluid SAE 10W in both Transmission and Hydraulic tank. Local Komatsu dealer carries it. It is expensive but cheaper than Komatsu branded stuff. Anything 10W with TO-2 or better is OK. gg -

Mine is 441 0023 K 005557 == TD7G Dozer w/ 6 way blade made in Korea 5557th unit It is a 1990 so yours is at least that old. -
TD7E leaking from Torque Converter
Definitely not good. Sounds like maybe the torque converter seal. Once it is off might as well rebuild it. Mine is a 91 also. gg -

Not sure - on my Dresser it would be under the floor boards. I'm thinking maybe the reverser shaft in the transmission but I hope not. gg -

I bought a new clutch pressure gauge for my TD7-G back in 2012. Got it from Komatsu dealer like Labparamour said. The Komatsu p/n was KAC-713262C2. Not cheap - $200 gg -
