Sweet water in my bucket grapple

Hey yall. Every time I let my bucket grapple sit for a while and hook it up to my asv I get what looks like a small amount of condensation come out when I hook up the couplers. Where is this coming from and how can I nip it in the bud?

    Another Perkins Pukes

So you're telling me that I have a 30% chance of my engine blowing up? That sounds like hyperbole, no offense. Wouldn't there be a recall or a fix for these problems?

    Track pattern options/opinions...

I'm bumping this because I'm going to be in the market to replace the tracks on my asv sr70 within a year or so. I was wondering what you guys would recommend for minimal damage to turf yet have some tread. I'll post some pics of what mine look like, they're stock but I kinda want an idea of...

My uncle left me a skid steer in his will. I'm not sure what to do with it.

You'll probably burn more fuel bringing the machine to and fro a jobsite than using it. Keep that in mind when pricing. Definitely have a friend who knows about these machines show you how to use and maintain it. It doesn't take too long in the saddle to get a handle on these machines...

I'd like some opinions on UD trucks

I'm looking at a new UD 2300 c&c to put a forestry chip dump on it. I'm getting a pretty decent deal but I don't know if it's a bad idea since UD is vacating North America in sales. Is this a bad idea or will the parts be available in the future?

    cold weather drive delay

I always let it "warm" up for about thirty minutes in the cold weather but the hydraulic fluid never seems to do any warming until I start actually using it and lifting logs n stuff.

    cold weather drive delay

Yeah, the delay goes away when it warms up. But for some reason the cold does nothing to the lift arms. I didn't know if there was a fix.

    cold weather drive delay

Howdy, my asv sr-70 has a delay in the drive when it's cold. The guy who sold it to me said it is what I should expect. In really cold weather the delay is sometimes unproductive and somewhat scary. Is there anything I can do besides running a thinner oil? Am I cursed to live with this on my...

    Alternative bobcat hydraulic oil?

The CAT dealer sent me some literature in the mail. I noticed they wanted $110 a 5 gallon bucket for their hydraulic oil. For that price that oil better cure cancer.

What should should I run the tach at on my machine?

this is quite helpful. thanks. One more question. If I operate the machine at full rpm, will I get less hours out of the engine or pump as opposed to running the tach at just what I need it at?

What should should I run the tach at on my machine?

An entry level question I admit, but I must bury the axe on this subject with my brother. When he runs my asv he is adamant about maxing the rpms out around 3200 so the relief valves aren't used. But people have said that you only need around 2200 rpm unless you really need it at the time. I...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wont you get metal shavings in the filter from cutting the metal housing? What do you use without contaminating the results?
