Thumb not meshing with bucket teeth

When I got my Takeuchi thumb I should have planned it out a little better. The thumb tines hit the bucket teeth instead of meshing with them. I find this annoying because I can't grip a log that is smaller the 12" in diameter. It just slides out. Unless I pinch it between the tip of the...

Takeuchi TB260 Starts, but no functions.

About 2,100.. Sometimes I use it infrequently, especially over the winter. I had to jump the battery every now and then. I wonder if this contributed, but I'm not sure.

    Different opinions

BSP fittings are pretty common now, even my Takeuchi excavators use them.

Takeuchi TB260 Starts, but no functions.

Turned out to be the module located under the seat.. it was about 2000$ to have the dealer diagnose and put it in. On the module there are a few little led’s that blink, I do not think mine were lighting up on the bad one, but on the new one they are.

    Looking at excavator.. e120b

I am going to look at an excavator this week.. A Cat e120b. It be used for land clearing and house prep on my own property. I know it an older machine. It had 5k hours. I can attach a video. I realize this video does not show too much, but do you think its a machine worth having? What do...

Replacement bushings have the wrong groove pattern for grease to flow

How many hours on your 260? I have a little over 2,200 on mine, very little play in any of the pins.

    bucket quick couplers

With the TAG couples, some have an adjustment to take out the slop. Adjust- a - hook I think it’s called.

Opion on a 1995 GMC 6500 Dump Truck.

I know what your saying about that cat 3208. We had one in a Ford c8000 non turbo version. It was hard to stand around that thing when running. Just a smoky dirty running engine, but ran well.

Opion on a 1995 GMC 6500 Dump Truck.

I have C6500, it handles a load well. 7-8 tons hardly make it squat at all. The hydraulic brakes don't have the best stopping power, so I defiantly don't drive too fast or too close. They do have a double frame, not quite the same as a Mack truck. The extra frame doesn't run the whole...

Jcb hydraulic joint bsp with gasket

I’ve put fittings together without the oring on the BSP and they were fine. The oem fittings on my JCB have the oring, but aftermarket hose fittings do not.

    11r22.5 tire tool?

I had a truck with 19.5's, now I have one with 11r22.5's. I only need to change a few tires. What would you recommend for tire irons? Or would you get the bar that is specific to 22.5s?

    TB260 starts, won't operate.

Hmm mine has dead battery now and then. Wonder if those modules don’t like the battery being jumped. My module under the seat went bad. They have a couple led’s on them that blink when the key is turned on. On mine they did not blink so that was one clue.

I’ll check for end play. What do you guys think, just get a rebuilt unit and replace it?

Can not get this fitting to take grease.

This is a ‘15 Takeuchi excavator. This lower fitting on the boom swing won’t take any grease. Tried the impact greaser with oil and pb blaster. Pulled the fitting, and grease goes though it fine off. Also no solidified grease behind the fitting. Is it possible the bushing moved or something...

'99 C7500 steering gear play (video)

Hello, I have a C7500 GMC. I have replaced almost every steering component to try and take out the slop in the steering (king pins, links, etc...) I still have a fair amount of play in the wheel wheel when I'm driving down the road. Even with all the new components I still have to "keep on...

    TB260 starts, won't operate.

Got it back from the dealer, it was a faulty controller as circled above. Seems unusual for this part to fail. The part was 1800$.
