Well, I done did it...Amulet Hoeclamp on my NH 675E W/Extend-A-Hoe

SL Construction, could we see your installation if it gets that far? I’m still on the fence but drooling… I did a small project for a neighbor a month ago where I cut through a terrace with a 12” bucket as deep as I could get. First for me that narrow, that deep. The terrace was relatively...

    580M Engine Oil Level?

I am pleased to report, vacuum pump and 3’ of 1/8” tubing down the dipstick tube has remedied my screw up. No mess but did take a little to get cold oil up that small tubing. This morning, I had the time. Tomorrow it needs to work. Vac pump pulling on a modified throwaway refrigerant drum...

    580M Bell Housing Hole

I will do one or the other. Not sure how much room before the front drive line might come into play. Going to have to figure out how to clean those threads first.

    580M Engine Oil Level?

Well, that’s not the answer I was looking for!!! You know I’m basically lazy. There’s a front drive line guard under the drain pan and oil does not drop straight down. It hits a couple braces on the way out… I will find a small tube and see if I can go down the dipstick tube. Let you know...

    580M Engine Oil Level?

How detrimental is an engine overfill? Looked at some misinformation. Operator Manual and internet manual didn’t agree. Checked operator manual ten minutes too late! Don’t know if I can reach the sump through the fill hole or not to extract some. Probably a quart too much!

    580M Bell Housing Hole

Just noticed this opening last night. It’s a threaded hole, maybe 1” pipe thread, under the machine. Does it need to have a plug inserted to keep dust and dirt out? What possible damage to expect? Will be interesting getting the threads cleaned out. Thanks, Mike

Suggestions for first heavy equipment purchase

What I remember most about the area you are looking at is rock and trees….lots of rocks and trees. I’m on your east side, near the Mississippi River. We have rocks and trees but there’s large areas of dirt - good dirt. Good luck on the pursuit of your new home.

    580M Fan Belt Not Tracking

‘You guys are amazing’ Read this in a post earlier and totally agree. Next issue: serpentine belt doesn’t stay put in the correct grooves of the fan pulley. This was a new belt maybe couple years ago. I didn’t replace the idler but probably should have. Didn’t feel or look bad. Thanks in...
