    580c shuttle leak

    Do you think that it could have anything to do with the breather, and pressure building up in the shuttle causing it to leak when hot? I just don't want to change the seal if that is where it is coming from for it to leak again. Thanks for the help!

    I have a 580c that is leaking oil. It seems to be coming from the torque converter area. The weird part is that it only seems to leak when the shuttle oil is warm. When it reaches above 120 degrees. The hotter it gets (harder I use it) the faster it leaks. Let it idle and cool down and it all...

    The sae 90 part it ok but the gl4 is what I can't seem to find. Is it ok to use gl5?

    can't seem to find the correct spec oil for the trans axle. Manual shows "Case FDL multipurpose gear lubricant, Api-gl-4, Mil-l-2105b, sae 80 or sae 90. Any in site or replacement type oils would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

    Tires

    Any reason not to load tires except for corrosion? I was thinking of using old antifreeze. Was also thinking that the extra weight would help in the snow as I only have 2wd.

    580ck coolant blowing out rad cap

    Is the rad. cap in good condition and sealing to rad. neck. If not it can cause the coolant to boil and push out if the system is not pressurized.
