    bobcat 700 manual pdf?

Anyone got the manual? I've got problems with the high/low on the drives. It speeds up a hair when I flip the lever, but I'm told there should be a big difference in speed. Local dealer is new to Bobcat and can't find the manual for a machine this old......

    Help

Nice job. Only thing it doesn't mention is Volvo selling the name and selling the line of small graders back to the original owners of that line in the states, and that they have now closed the plant in goderich and moved all the production elsewhere..

    Help

Uhhh..... Champion (Dominion Road Machinery in Goderich ontario) bought the company he's affiliated with I think in the 80's.. Volvo sold off that part of the company and sold the name Champion with it. They make some neat little graders, but not related to that '59 Champion. There's an antique...

    History of Champion Motor Graders

I think you'll find that when Volvo sold them back the line of small graders they probably had an agreement about size.... If I have this figured out right, he's a member of the group (family?) that sold their small grader to Champion back in the day, and got it back (plus the name) when Volvo...

    History of Champion Motor Graders

Did yours have a detroit deisel or a cummins? I've got an old (1960) 562 with a cummins and I'm an hour west of London. Probably looks a lot liek the '72 you were talking about. Still works fine, does a few driveways, parking lots, horsetracks, etc. Our municipality was almost all Champion...

    Shoulder grading,

That looks like it's pretty much the same design that they were building in Goderich for a long time.... Got two of them in the yard we use on 740's. Had an older one we put on the back of a '92 720 too. They work good as long as you don't have too much sod to deal with and the shoulder is wide...

    "The Retriever"

I rented one of these from the next county over about 15 years ago, nothing but good things to say about it. Best way I found to use it was with things REALLY dry (which it is this spring) and as fast as you can go. I had it on a front mount wing on a champion, wound up articulating as far as I...

    mismatched tires

Makes sense to me, especially if you have a differential.... Price isn't way out of line if the tires are decent. You're using it about the same as I use mine, and I'd do it if I had a decent set of tires come up. I've got no diff in my old champion either!

    Anyone know what this is?

Wow. Just looked at the pictures of the Austin western on the steering box thread. I'll bet they shared the front axle. Look at the pictures in the 2 threads that are taken of the front end from the back side.

    Anyone know what this is?

NOT an 8V71, that I would recognize. I'll get back and have a look, but it might be a while.
