    Our 046s have the serials stamped on the towers on the back side on a flat from memory where the skidding line goes intobthe back of the tower. Along with a stamped plate above guyline controls and another on the cross member below the skidding drum if this helps.

    We had a Fiat Allis HD16 for years to tow our Washington 137 Trailer around it was a great tractor. I havnt seen one for a long time.

    What a great day, the view from the office being our newest 046 up and running today. A nice sunny day in the distance is a 071 working with a Acme carriage and off to the left out of sight a 171, I love that sound of Whistles echoing around the hills.

    Well Got the Guylines on our newest 046 yesterday that makes two in our fleet on the Coast now both self propelled. Its now sitting on the first landing ready to stand the tower up and put the working lines on. At some time next week will post some photos working.

    Would have been a better photo if the loaders weren't in the way, Slacklining with the 046 two big 5 plus tonne logs these are making it work. Typical cold wet winters day in the Whareratas.

    Yes their logo is still on the side, I guess maybe late next week it will get painted if I get back to the shop I will get a photo of their logo before it disappears.

    our New 046 in the Workshop in Maramarua as you can see not too much isnt getting touched. Engine out, torque out cab refurb paint all new lines etc etc should be looking good when back at work. Will post some more when we get it up and running hopefully in a few weeks.

    Thanks that gives me something to go on, will have another look at our other 046 may just have to make something to do the job. Will be up at our shop next week so hopefully will get a few pictures of progress to date.

    Has someone got a copy or a decent photo of the Madill Logo from the early 80s for our new 046 that is in the shop getting painted, I just want to get the correct one before it goes to work.

    046 Serial No 10026 and only one I believe specced from Madill with a Cat D3408 , cleaned and ready for shipping to Gisborne NZ. Hope to have it painted, tidied up and working end July maybe beginning of August. Once I get it up and running I will post some more photos .

    Loaders, Limbers and Roadbuilders.

    Only for the travel and was made worse when the cabs were raised and after market cables for installed. We ran Kato's in Mangatu right though the 90s and they were faultless, very powerfull and well balanced.

    Is that our old 200 we moved up to our workshop in Maramarua from the Coast. If it is its looking pretty good I havent seen it since the rebuild.
