I have an early 3306 with the scroll style(?). Same style as a d333c. Drill bit in the timing hole was for sleeve metering I had thought. -

Can anyone post the procedure for using this timing plate? I am rebuilding an early 3306 which has the scroll style fuel pump and my manual only has the sleeve metering procedure with the pin. -

Liebherr 731C blade won’t work
Good idea. I think first I’ll try and get the cab tilted up, have a general look over and then try and see if there is in fact an electrical lockout somewhere. The machine seems to use pilot hydraulics to the joystick in the cab but on the drive side there is a lockout. There probably is on... -

That stops it from moving when it is on. Then when it is off I can move. Assuming that means it is working ok…? Or is there a separate switch for the blade and the drive? -

We just got a Liebherr 731c that had the blade chained up. We bought it from a lady who’s husband had passed and with him the knowledge of it went as well. Well I had to leave the blade there. Pins for the angle were seized so even though I got everything loose it wouldn’t angle enough to get it in the angled position. Not a big issue though… dozers are home safe and I’ll get the blade soon on my trailer. The Liebherr actually drove on the... -

yeah I did the math... I need it to swing 25" on each side. I am assuming there is at least that between the holes. But I will measure when I go out there. When I pull the pins and take the swing arms out of the holes I am pretty sure the blade is going to want to full on swing down or... -

Right now with the blade straight the width is 12 feet 8 inches. I need to get it to 12 feet or under to be legal for transport. Do you know what the width is if it is angled and how to angle the blade? It is just a manual blade angle. -

Somehow I keep finding myself with dead dozers. I am thinking about buying a D600D Terex and a Liebherr 731C. Both nice looking machines with near new undercarriages and the price is basically scrap so I will not get burned too much. Basically, the owner sadly passed and no one around knows... -

Cat 977L torque converter rebuild
I did not. My dad is working on the trans now just taking the lid off to see what we see and then I am rebuilding a 3306 in my garage at the moment. Once I get that done I will go through a converter. I will be sure to update when I do.- jezow2010

Moving a non running TD20E
Oh I think it runs… I hope at least. Was parked as part of a grounds crew outsource move at a large facility. Basically they outsourced the work and the machines all just sat. The security was weird and it was being disposed of as scrap so the deal was I could look but could not bring...
