Service on my tracked minidumper Yanmar C8R video

Old thread, but just wanted to tell you I love your content on your YouTube channel and look forward to all new videos ( well, not so much snow plowing - I live in Canada and get enough snow plowing of my own :) ) Good job, keep putting it out there! Glen

    Ghel 803

I have a WN 38Z3, 2012 vintage I believe. Similar if not exact machine. Done lots of work with it, not a problem ever so far except the pneumatic cylinder that holds armrest/control lockout up. Replaced that, back in business. My only complaint is lack of legroom but you get that with zero tail...

    Yanmar Vio20-2 breaker hammer?

I don't have your same machine but do have a breaker for mine. Should have a male and female hose that only connect one way and as for the pedal I would think it will only work in one direction anyway as oil just flows through the breaker, not in and out. Mine's on a joystick button but same...

    Joystick buttons

Thanks for the photo help, I did try that before but had no option to retrieve pics, once I got the "documents" button I was able to go in that way. Anyhow, there's the pics of problem with buttons.

    Joystick buttons

Yes, rubber caps died of sun exposure and years of thumbs mashing them. The one cap gone entirely with the little spring plate that is under it, leaving only a tiny plastic sorta pin to push to activate. Pretty tough on my arthritic fingers trying to jam that little pin all the time. Why is it...

    Joystick buttons

I have pics but seems a bit tricky to get them to attach here. If I figure it out I will post for sure, thx

    Joystick buttons

Anybody ever had to replace just the buttons on excavator control joysticks? I have a Wacker 38Z3 that has Rexroth sticks, most of the buttons seem to be UV damaged/cracked/missing. Rexroth website looks like new sticks have different looking buttons. Mine is a 2008. Sure Grip controls all look...

    sevice manuals

Anyone have service manual for cat 216B skid steer? I have owner's/maintenance manual but not very in-depth. Don't have serial # handy but it's a 2005. Thx, Glen

Looking to get into a skid

I own a caterpillar 216b which is the smallest one that Cat makes. I've had it for 8 or 9 years, does everything I've ever asked of it. 59 inches wide, about 5600 lbs, rated capacity of around 1400lb I think, nice roomy cab, mine has enclosed cab with heat. I love it, paid 15 grand for it when...

    Edd--problem with Cat 302.5 mini

I read the whole post and still don't understand. I figure by "hydronics" he means hydraulics, but the reference to "hydronic sword" has me baffled. I dunno.

Wacker Neuson 3503 and Case CX31 user reviews

I have a 38z3, which I believe is pretty much the same as the 3503 just in a zero tailswing. Bought mine used from a Colorado dealer/rental outfit. No dealers in my area (over in the southeast corner of our province) either, but as you said the price point makes it attractive. Mine's a 2008...

Hello all! New Here. Anyone recently switch from an H to an M?

Once you get the hang of running all the functions on two joysticks you'll love it. You can put your feet up on the dash and smooth the road at the same time. Don't show the boss that trick though. I'm in mining, we used 16g & h series, but as they are retired we have more 16 & 24m than...

    Grease fittings problems

Maybe just unscrew those fittings, throw 'em away and put in a couple new ones?

94' Case 1845C drive problems, please help

If the problem follows that new hose from side to side, I would suspect that hose or fitting is restricting something. I know nothing of this machine but that only makes sense to me....didn't have the problem before the new hose, problem follows the hose from one side to the other......must be...

ripping up asphual driveway best way?

I was takingout several stumps next to our paved driveway using the forks. Let me tell you it's relatively easy to rip up the pavement even when not meaning to. Oh well, got the stumps too....just a bit more work. Time in the skid is all good though....:drinkup

    M Series Controls

I run that grader quite often at work....what exactly do you want to know? Are you going to get some time in one and want a preview so you aren't "going in blind"? I can type out all the controls for you, but only makes sense when you have the sticks in hand to see the machine's response.... Glen

    attachment swaps w/ other manufactures

Basically all the same the last 10 yrs. Only variables would be your hydraulic, gpm and horsepower requirements to run the attachment.... It'll hook up, does your loader have the oomph to run it is all you need to answer.

    Towing with 1/2 ton

Was reading another thread about towing capacities etc., and brought this to mind: What are your thoughts on towing a small skid (under 6000lbs) with a half ton? Would be short in town, job to job, job to home trips. No highway or high speed travels. Was thinking of picking up one of those 12'...
