    Yea John...… just my luck. Eye is worn out but the shaft is tighter than hell. I'll let you know how I make out.. Probably won't work on it till Monday.

    Cmark………….that's what I was afraid of. John C...…… well its not threaded but we put the jack hammer on the big eye trying to shock it to turn a little hoping that would free it up a some but that did nothing.

    Thanks John..... The nuts came off with no problem. I can't seem to get the eye bolt itself out of the support hole. Tried pushing on it with a porta power with no luck. Took a BIG jack hammer to the big eye to try to get it to turn a little to free it up and no luck with that either. Not really...

    Had a friend bring over his D5C because one of the pins that hold the C Frame to the Eye Bolts broke. The pins were so loose it wore out the eye bolt attachments. Is there a trick to getting those eye bolts out of the track frame support? Thanks Joe

    I have a 580SK and she starts down to about 20f with about 10 seconds of cranking and no throttle no heat no ether..... below 20 I use a coolant heater.

    That looks like more of a chip out of the valve than a burnt valve. Should be a fun project. I'm doing the same thing to and IH 500E dozer. I have it all done but the undercarriage.

    In my mind you should be seeing around 35 to 40 psi on the low side and 195ish on the hi side when running at idle and outside temps around 80ish.... if you have the correct charge in it and the low side is way below that check to see if the evaporator has a filter or if that coil is crudded up...

    The 2 local Hydraulic hose shops near me don't carry the tubing... one is a Parker store. Also there is a third that I deal with online, same thing though... they don't have anything for steel lines.
