    Well we never fill our DEF tanks full in the winter time. Full tanks will freeze solid and break.

    Trunion repair?

    The fast and dirty way would be to cut off a 1/4 inch off the cap. More if needed, but someday you will have to pay the fiddler and replace the ball and trunnion.

    D6C engine side covers

    When I had my D6C I hung a hunk of coveyor belt on each side on hinges. I drilled 3/4 inch holes in them and never had a problem with overheat. If a stick did hit them they wouldn't bend.

    Your problem is in the cab. Check your cab mounts thoroughly. I know it sounds crazy but it took me a while to figure it out, but thats what it was.

    1. Make sure your confident your batteries are good. 2. Usually a slight delay in starting is a plate in your solenoid is getting burned to the point current doesn't get connected, but it burns in to make connection. The old solenoids you could flip the plate over and get by. The new ones...
