    D7f engine swap question.

Local contractor blew up his 3306 #92e1174 b914x Those are the serials he provided me. I have a running pull out from a cat grader that has a serial #72g640 on the engine tag. They want the block and crank. I'm tryin to figure out if they would be the same. Any idea where I would find the...

    Caterpillar Pony Motor

Ohh I deffinetly recommend all 4. We just ran out of time and the other two we bought were questionable in condition. Machine has been tied up on jobs and It hasn't been high on the repair list. One day though. But with the electric start i run the plugs then crank with the decompression lever...

    Caterpillar Pony Motor

We converted our d7e to direct start after buying it. The last owner ground the ring gear off and that did havoc on the scavenger pump as well. We bought the correct bendix and nose cone and converted a 40mt we had. We did two glow plugs on the back head and it starts really easy. But we're in...

N i was going to go with a1 1/2 but after looking at these holes I figured smaller would be easier. I do want to build a few larger bars though. How does the Milwaukee drill work for you? Is it auto feed? I originally had a Morse taper adapter but without a u joint it kept walking loose from...

Yep it was so sloppy that you couldn’t do anything to hold a grade. And the swing was bashing the idlers hard enough where they broke them to pieces. I’m assuming most of the ripping was done with the blade corner bits. The bar I’ve been using is 1 1/8 that we made from a old ram shaft. We just...

    D9h blade parts info

Haha yeah Yeah we’re hoping to get a decent run out of it and put the money into a 9r. And I agree about never getting back what’s in it. I would rather park it in a barn and just look at it as a collectible haha.
