    Bobcat E85s

Yeah that’s what’s got me right now. What mower setup are you running?

    Bobcat E85s

Thanks for the info today rondig. I’m still going to check out a E85 possibly this week but it sounds like I should keep running mine. I’d just need to get new roadliner pads and possibly sprockets. For being 12 years old the pads don’t look too bad but they definitely need replaced. What tracks...

    Bobcat E85s

Yeah I know the new stuff can be a pain. I’m at a little under 3500 hours on mine, I’ve seen them on machinery trader with 10k. I know the E85s are a few gpm lower on the auxiliary circuit and 11hp lower, the R series bumped up the hp by 7 I believe. So it’s equal to the -4 kubota but still a...

    Bobcat E85s

Yea I’ve kind of ruled out the 308 now. I plan on running a mower also. I don’t have to replace my 80 but I’ve got someone that wants to buy it off me so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to upgrade. I’ll have to demo a E85 soon and see what I think. My 80 is the oldest machine I own and it’s been the...

    Bobcat E85s

A couple other things I’m looking for in a upgrade are the higher lift capacity that the E85s and 308s are rated at and the shorter blade height, it’s hard to see over the one on my 80 when you start getting deeper. I’ve noticed the blades on the E85s and 308s are probably about 5” shorter, that...

    Bobcat E85s

Is your 80 a -3 or -4? I’d imagine the 4s would be a little faster. I don’t plan on getting a twist bucket but you never know. A pin grabber is a must. I haven’t ruled out another kubota but it sure would be nice to be dealing with one dealership til I get some bigger iron.

    Bobcat E85s

Hey guys how are the newer E85’s? Any problems? I’m looking at 2016 and newer ones. Don’t know if I want to spend over $100k on a new R series yet. Figured I could save $20k and get something a couple years old with a few hundred hours on it. I’m running a 2007 Kubota KX080-3 now and it’s been...

    scissor lift dump trucks

Hey guys, Im looking for your opinions on scissor lift dumps. Im looking to get a single axle 33k gvw dump in the near future. I see a lot more scissor lifts out there than telescopic hoists. Bed length will be 10-11ft and the truck will be getting used at GVW when I'm using it. I would prefer a...

How would you move this dirt?

I dont have any pics of the project Nolan. I wasnt there for too long. I was just filling in for another oiler. You would like the project that is starting right down the road from me on route 8 at the stow/ hudson border. Independence excavating is putting in a interchange. They have a decent...

what a lovely sound this morning

I know If I was the contractor I would probably try something similar. The price of salt sky rocketed this winter and would cost alot to salt down 1/4 inch of ice. I would salt the hell out of it if the customer wanted to pay for it though. There was nothing wrong with his timing either. He was...

    Ford F550 Good...Bad...Ugly

I know they both have a 19k gvw and the 5500 is twice the truck that a 550 is. I was just bringing it up since no one else has yet.

    Ford F550 Good...Bad...Ugly

Im suprised no one has brought up the Gm 5500's. I think those are good trucks. Duramax is a good motor, allison tranny is good. Ive drove some and think they are great. The turning radius on them with a 10' bed is about the same as my regular cab 2500hd.

    Stihl Chain Saw

I got a MS 360 (361 replaced it) and its a good saw. If you are gonna be using it alot to drop 3-4 ft trees id buy a MS 460 or even a 066. You cant go wrong with a stihl saw.
