    hmm don't forget new valve guides any maybe two or three new valve seats with the way things are the (economy) loan me some money, better yet just give it to me, to repair that engine when $21.00 might just be as good. The way the things are with the obama economy they are predicting 50%...

    That's exactly the point I was trying to make does it have the correct radiator cap? It's a one and half inch long neck!

    Had similar problem. It has a one and half inch radiator neck. I changed the radiator cap with one with a gasket at the top and the correct length and tapped the top of the brass neck down a little so it would be tight and that fixed my problem...
