    Red Bank, from what I have learned it goes purely on weight. You could have as many axles as you want but it won't allow you to carry more load. I know around middle Ga area the companies run alot of trailer dumps. The paving comp. run those short tri-axle dumps and the sand and rock haulers...

    D5G, we haven't been able to operate it yet. Our maintainence dept. has to do thier initial inspection first. Talked to the guy today thats doing it and he says it should be ready to go tomorrow.:drinkup

    With that 6 way blade it says on Cats web site that you need some sort of counter weight. Either a ripper or a winch and we have no need for a ripper. But i don't know why it didn't have a cable. The federal government ordered it so they might be trying to save money:falldownlaugh

    I ran W-14's in the military for 8 years. We had an '88 and 2 '90's. Very basic in the cab, like plowking said a seat on a pole was all you got. They did pretty well power wise and this was after being abused for years. If the cabs were better I'd rather have them then the JCB's we have now.
