    Just some work pics

Was that one of the trains they run for the Ozark Zephyr train ride out of Branson? We spent 5 days in Branson in 2017 and took that tour, and the train and area looked familiar. I really liked the area down there, but the mid August humidity was a bit too much for this northern boy :(

    Bobcat 763 F series 100A fuse location?

Serial# is 5122380072. I'm hoping to get a chance to look at it this week again since I'm off, but we'll see. I assumed all the 763s had a 100A fuse, but I'm basing that off of the schematic for my father's 763G. I did see in a search I did on here that the glow plug harness could be an area...

    Bobcat 763 F series 100A fuse location?

Hi all. Merry Christmas a day early. As the title states, I'm looking for the location of the 100A fuse on my uncle's Bobcat 763 F series skid loader. He was running it one day and shut it down, and now there's no power to anything when you turn the key. I've already put in a known good...

    Oil seeping from exhaust

Hi all. As the title states, I've got an oil seepage issue on an engine. I say seepage because it's not leak per se, but I still have oil where I shouldn't. Engine in question is a turbo'd 6 cylinder 401ci in a Ford 9700 ag tractor, the same I had oil cooler issues with in another post. While...

    Removing engine oil from Coolant?

Figured I should update this since finished it. I ended up flushing the system 3 times with Cascade and twice with straight water before I finally got it clean. Used about 3 lbs. of Cascade altogether. Thanks again for the help.

    Removing engine oil from Coolant?

Thanks for the replies. I failed to mention this is for an older Ford ag tractor, so no DPF or other emission stuff. I'll mix up some stuff and try a couple flushes with hot water. I'll try to flush with low pressure first as the radiator is out, then do a flush with it running.

    Removing engine oil from Coolant?

Hi all. I know there's a thread somewhere about removing oil from coolant, but for the life of me I can't find it. My problem is I found engine oil in the radiator of one of our tractors prepping it for winter. Pulled the radiator and had it leak checked and they found a leak in the engine oil...

    Kubota V2203-E valve lash adjustment?

Just an update, I got the caps for my valve stems and that made a huge difference. I attached the pics just to be sure it looks right to those more knowledgeable than I on these engines. I assumed the caps would ride further down on the valve stem, not just on the radius on top of the valve...

    Kubota V2203-E valve lash adjustment?

Good to know. I was beginning to wonder if I was missing something or not. Hopefully my dealer has them in stock on Monday. In the mean time I'll just have to try find my hydrostatic drive leak :(

    Kubota V2203-E valve lash adjustment?

Well I checked out my engine after work and I don't think I have the caps. I've attached 2 pics showing what I have currently and it doesn't look like or match the description you gave me lantraxco. However, I looked in the box my head came in and found 8 of the caps like the one in my other...

    Kubota V2203-E valve lash adjustment?

I will have to check that out. I didn't do the head work. The machine shop that pressure checked the old head for me swapped the parts over. I think everything is there but now I'm starting to wonder.

    Kubota V2203-E valve lash adjustment?

Been awhile since I've posted, but I'm kind of stumped here. I had to replace the head on my father's Bobcat 763 b/c it overheated and cracked around the injectors. We had a diesel shop check our valves and springs over and swap them into a new head which I installed. When I removed the rack...

    Engine overheating

Check your engine air filter(s). If you've got good belts and a good water pump, that'd be the next place to look. That or there's still a slug of air in the cooling sysyem waiting to be purged.

    The suck bucket

Nice solution Atco. I'm glad the suck bucket topic came up again, as I had to rig up one last week. The maintenance program I'm in sold an old power hacksaw where the coolant tank was built in and it needed to be drained. Problem was, no drain plug, which was odd. So, I copied your idea with a...

    Bobcat 863 traction control

Our 763G was doing that this summer while we were baling hay. Problem was a slightly loose and severely corroded ground connection at the battery. Cleaned up the terminal and clamp, tightened it down and no problems since. The service manual lists the loose/bad ground as the first thing to...

    Bucket Wear Protection

When you hard-faced the bucket that lost most of it in 3 days, how was it applied? Most types of hardsurfacing are meant to be used only as a cover pass , meaning you need to build up the area to be faced with an appropriate filler metal first. Once it's built up, then you lay down the...

    Fox self propelled chopper

Very nice. I had the chance to see one that was restored to "showroom" condition last year at the Wisconsin Farm Technology Days show. They are pretty cool machines, but I can't imagine screwing with the band the way it was before you modified it. We had the band break last year on our Gehl 1250...

    Transporting an 803,000 lb generator

Cool pics. Do those trailers have some sort of central inflation system on them for all the tires, or is that Sulair compressor in pic #4 strapped on only for the air brakes?

feed drive hydro stat noisy on jag 940 ??

Is the hydro attached directly to the motor, or is it shaft driven and coupled together? If it's coupled, it could be the couplers are loose or sized wrong, leaving side-to-side slop and making the racket. Is this some type of feed grinder, or mixer/grinder of some sort?

    Repairing Bobcat 773

Posted by ATCOEQUIP: The 773 doesn't have a drain plug in the back, near the engine bay? On our 763, there's a removable skidplate under, and a little ahead of the engine, that you remove and gain access to the drain plug.
