how to hook up a residential sewer line from a home

As others have said you need to check with the town/city to see how to proceed. If there is a lateral it should be a piece of cake. In the street making a tap is much more involved depending on a lot of issues. Traffic, depth, pressure or gravity main, type of material, licensing/insurance...

    Case 580K fanbelt change

I had a K but never changed the belt. I have done it on my L and it's a royal PIA. Make SURE you change the idler/tensioner at the same time is my best advice. Good luck.

    97-98 580 L Stuck in 4x4 mode, please help!`

I hope it's ok to add a question? My 580SL series one definitely dis-engages but still feels "heavy". Some times it will clunk a short time after dis-engaging and then feel better, but it has definitely dis-engaged as I have checked it by raising the wheels and they are getting no drive power...

    What year/model 580 m/sm to look for?

The 580SL I have now has 4wd/extendahoe/clam, and now after having them all I would have a hard time giving any of them up. The 4wd/extendahoe are non-negotiable, and the clam definitely comes in handy. I know I would be lost if I didn't have it in the future so I should probably add that to the...

I have always had 4 stick machines and am very happy with them. Pilot controls? I will take my time to...

    Backhoe weight

I've never weighed mine on a scale, and I don't know where some of these weights are coming from, but they seem awfully high to me. I've had several 580's and I always consider them to be aprox 15k lbs. My book for my 580SL says heaviest configuration = 15,764 lbs. 4 in 1, 4wd, counter...
