You have got mine to JY. I make a better patient than a by stander. Its easier for me to be hurt than watch loved ones . Best wishes.

Thank you guys. It's harder because the kids don't know about the lesion but they can tell we are overly concerned. Oldest daughter doesn't even know. I did a bunch of research and what I have discovered is more than likely it's related to her immune system being weak. Could be a very convoluted diagnosis and course of action! I've got the younger boys with mimi (my mom). Trying to keep things as quiet and peaceful as possible so she can rest.

Thanks again to everybody for the support.

Ok let's change the tone....

While off work Tuesday I spotted a Miller XMT304 and 24A wire feeder on Craigslist. Asking $1,250 for the pair. That's a great buy. Text him and he was willing to bring to my shop so I could power up. Hoped to weld with it but wasn't sure what he was bringing. Had to change the plug and it powered up. After assessing the situation there was no quick way to adapt my leads to it or fix the mess as far as hooking the feeder up.

So today I took a break and piddled at the shop. Got some ends and threw the feeder back on. Welded ok, decided to throw a spare gun I had on. Man oh man does it weld slick, the old gun was junk. I am waiting for a couple adapters so I can use my existing leads with tweeco style ends on it. I'm anxious to see how it burns 7018. So a little leap of faith buying it before testing worked out. I've had the shop for 10 years now and this is the first stick machine I've had that wasn't burning gas or diesel!! Plus I have a spare 12RC suitcase that didn't have a home because I sold my air pak. Now I can run it off the XMT. No more scratch start tig off an engine drive either. I'm wire feeder poor now! It'll save some swapping between solid wire and flux core. Not that it's a big deal or happens very often.

All the best my friend as to handling all that comes your way. Welders included. You fire up that SAE you bought here yet?

Other than fire it up every week or two I have not moved it since I brought it home....I do have the skid designed for it and I will repurpose the trailer as the running gear for a dump. The 6-8 weeks Josh and I spent getting the shop into shape ate up time for stuff like that but the shop sure did need it!! First thing I'll do is have all the sheetmetal blasted, fix all the cosmetic I can and relocate gauges, starter switch etc. Also need to fix the throttle that's out of adjustment. Probably service it too even though they told us it was recently done. I'd care to wager it has 15w40 in it and I'd like to go back with the correct oil. I've talked to a gentleman rancher that may want a lot of pipe fence built so it'll start to earn it's keep. I'm anxious to use it.

I still need to get up to KC and get the 400 that Doug has....maybe this week as our old twin disc is supposed to be done.

Thoughts and prayers here, as a guy your age with kids similar ages to yours I really can't imagine what that would be like. Sounds like a sweet welder setup, if it is like the one in our shop it will run 7018 vertical up like a dream.

Thanks again all. Ended up taking her back to ER last night and they admitted her. Nothing scary just helping pain management and hydration. A few more tests and whatnot.

Thought I'd update y'all. Took the girls up to see her this evening. Her color was much better, they've found a combination that really helps the pain. They've also gotten some of the other issues headed in the right direction. She looks much better, 12 hours made a big difference. Should get all the test results and another visit from a specialist tomorrow.

Thanks again for all the support!
