580C right brake hangs up, but releases when left brake applied

Working on a 580C, when put in gear (forward/reverse it doesn't matter) the left wheel will turn freely and the right will be stopped, if you press the far left pedal, the right wheel starts spinning and the left wheel locks up. Tried to apply the brake pedal only halfway to see if both would be released but that didn't work, I was just curious.

SO my question is what do they have in common that would cause this? I am thinking something went out or is hanging up in a master cylinder perhaps? I do not have a manual on this and have not been into the brakes before so these brakes are new to me.

Anyone care to share the proper adjustment as well please.

sound like typical 580c brake problems... some of the springs are broken/weak on the 'brake pack' and/or the brake balls are messed up. These are pretty simple to work on, plenty of pics on the forums when you do a search for 580c brake problems

i can agree with broken springs. Brake system is pretty simple on the C series
