New to the forum, little late to the post, but here is our 305.5e. We use it for small grading, drainage, and demo work.

Looks a nice machine. It is surprising how much you can get done with a 5t machine. Hugely quicker than a 3t or smaller. I guess you can probably haul that with a pickup where you are.

That little guy may fit inside the cab of the truck! LOL
Sure would beat a shovel in tight spaces however.

I was on a little Kubota once, a labourer reckoned he could outdid me with a spade and pick. He could for five minutes....

As for the Mustang above, that looks like a publicity picture rather than an owner or operator's machine. It looks a bit cheap in design, the hose runs are a bit crude in particular. I doubt the track drive hoses will last long, and the bucket ram bracket couldn't get a lot flimsier. I've got a 13 year old K008 for a hobby machine and I can get any part for the entire machine new. Wouldn't swap it for one of those.

It's a Yanmar built machine but I don't know the comparable Yanmar model number. I do know we have been using Yanmar built Mustangs for over 3 years now and have not have one break yet!

Just got delivered this morning. Never ran a mini ex before so need to put some hours on it. Will be for use just around the house like getting stumps out. Ordered a ripper but it's on back order. Getting a small pole barn built to park it in since my shop door is too short.

The main use right now is for stump removal. I'm sure other projects will come along around my house later on. Got to put some time on the thing though. I give you guys a lot of credit for being able to operate an excavator skillfully. Sure ain't as easy as you guys make it look.

Well right now you have to think about what lever and which way to push it
Get some hours in the seat and it will be automatic

It's unbelievable how many things one can do with a mini, I use mine about every week to either lift something , reach something, etc. I don't know how I survived so many years without one !

Yeah, I think it will be a good addition to my tractor for getting a lot of work done.
