    That's what happens when you mix electricity, moisture, vibrations, and dust. Things happen that don't make any sense and are seemingly unexplainable. One day my fuel gauge just quit working however the needle will move when I move the throttle even when it isn't even running

    If it is a 3 wire solenoid then check the adjustment on the threaded end where it attaches to the arm on the motor. It has to be adjusted so the solenoid reaches its full amount of movement before the arm on the motor stops or the second coil in the solenoid won't grab. Adjust it so the arm on...
