    Sweeper:

On my broom there’s actually a pivot in the horizontal plane so it floats along the surface with just the weight of the broom as down pressure until you tilt your quick attach forward a certain amount then it hits a stop and the pivot bottoms out and if you keep tilting forward you can put as...

Looks like a not bad little machine! Tinwork still looks fairly straight too! One thing I noticed is the bucket cylinder looks way too long, you’ll have to be careful that you don’t wreck your bucket linkage, looks like it got bent a bit already… be sure to tie those bucket cylinder hydraulic...

The travel levers have factory detents in them so that they stay in the travel position you put them in, I guess they did this because of how slow these things travel maybe? I dunno... Sure makes it fun to side load on a lowbed if you're not used to it like I was when I first got mine... One...

    Sweeper:

A broom attachment on your skid steer will not only clean all the gravel up, it will also dethatch your lawn. I’ve been using my bobcat broom for this very purpose every spring, and the lawn loves it, or at least it seems to. My neighbour also has me do his at the same time. As long as you...

I did see 2 pictures of your serial number tag, did you try to post other ones as well? As for the 2 stroke diesel, they were a very common engine back in the day, you’ll find them in trucks, boats, generators, sawmills, railroad equipment, construction equipment, basically you name it, chances...

Hello Mission Man! The engine in your machine will be a Detroit 4-53 2 stroke diesel. They are bullet proof engines and parts should still be available. As for the left track being slower than the right there are several possibilities. Most likely the hydraulic swivel assembly from the upper...

    Will EX200-5 tracks fit a 200-2?

Thanks, I will. Tracks will need to wait, the hydraulic oil cooler sprung a leak on me so now I’m on the hunt for one of those…

    Will EX200-5 tracks fit a 200-2?

Thanks guys. For what the machine does, even chinese rails and sprockets should do just fine, it does at most 100 hrs a year on my parents’ acreage… I’ll check in with Trek like you suggest Dave.

    Will EX200-5 tracks fit a 200-2?

They do, looks like 8C190E L from what I can tell from the picture. I messaged the seller and he did reply saying they would fit… here’s the ad… https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/331027746437801/ They’re in Edmonton so I might go take a look at ‘em next time I get down there…

    Will EX200-5 tracks fit a 200-2?

Hi guys, I need a set of track chains for my EX200-2 soonish, and found a set that are for a -5. My machine has 45 links, the rails I found have 46. Is the pitch the same? Will they fit on my -2 if I remove a link? Thanks!

    John Deere 2010

Hi everyone, I seem to be the new owner of my neighbour’s John Deere 2010 crawler dozer. He sold his property and is moving out of the country and left me the dozer to add to my collection of geriatric machinery. He got it in the mid-90s to do some work on his property and it worked well at that...
