    Bucket tooth pin removal tool

I guess I should have mentioned that... Cat J teeth are on most of my equipment.

    Bucket tooth pin removal tool

I’m posting today for your opinions on tooth pin removal/replacement tools. Many moons ago I fabricated a Frankenstein pin tool that worked reasonably well. As tools go this one disappeared now that I need it again. I thought I would splurge and buy a factory built tool for a few bucks. I’m...

    100 R2 hose on a Hitachi UH 083?

What I'm calling the return line had a female BSPP swivel fitting factory welded to the pipe. Interesting to note that a 1/2", 4090 psi rated hose about 2 feet long joined the pipe and center joint. As far as finding any pressure.... I have scoured the service manuals with no luck.

Thx Greg... seemed to make sense to me but wanted a second opinion.

    100 R2 hose on a Hitachi UH 083?

So on what I think is a return/bypass hose/steel line combo someone tore the threads up. It seems they forced a SAE pipe thread fitting into a BSPP female fitting. There are 2 lines leading to each of the drives are good so far. The problem 1/2" line comes off the bottom of the center joint to...

How to buy a farm use excavator"right"?

Who am I to go against the rest of the group but ponder this..... Consider paying $30,000 to have your jobs done in a month and just sit in a cabana watching the project. With the remaining $10,000 invest $2,000 in good liquor and mixers. With the leftover $8,000 hire 2 cabana girl servants to...

    Cat D9G

Based on the grass growth on and around the machine it hard for me to believe it was parked "several" years ago. It doesn't look like it's sunk in the ground like equipment will do after several years. I don't know if all that means anything other than if you want to buy it, do so. Keep in...

Buying used Kub svl75 vs NH lt185b vs Bobcat t300 or?

Based on what you have said so far I would consider engaging a logger to cut and land the trees you want in exchange for trees that he takes as compensation. With the proceeds, my inclination would be to buy a decent backhoe to maintain your drive and do some stumping.

This Corn Was Not Roundup Ready !

I have no interest in fueling a battle here but...... Many of the posts in this thread are riddled with misinformation and half truths. The one common flavor that I agree with is the fact there is too much government manipulation in agriculture. Politicians have known for a long time that if...

Buying used Kub svl75 vs NH lt185b vs Bobcat t300 or?

With all due respect. Pix would be good. How hilly is hilly? How big are the trees? Will you be stumping? Are you carrying the trees to your mill or skidding them? Is time important to you? The equipment on your list may be a little light as I'm imagining the intended uses.

Who is seeing youth entering our world?

Youth not entering the trades? I have two words........ Snap Chat... They can do anything other than play on those damned phones all day. Planning parties on Snap Chat has motivated me to send two packing in the past year.

    Hopper bin fail

Typically small bins like that have no "superstructure". Just an overgrown culvert set on end with a roof. 280 tons of corn flowing like dry sand is dangerous under the best conditions. The thing that I don't understand it why they would have 10 truck loads in a loading bin.

    Fitting type

Gentlemen: I can't thank you all enough. I'll double check the threads and measurements in the morning. Shortly after that I'm gonna make the people at my online hydraulic supplier earn their keep for the day.
