    CAT 279D-Is dealer lying about need to remove engine to clean DPF and clear ECM code

    I bought a 2018 299d2 at auction with 2600 hours on it and it was doing the same thing. Turned out to be the egr manifold needed replaced. It was under warranty. The only time in my life that anything I owned was covered under warranty. What year is your machine?

    Turns out the machine was just low of def. Gauge read 1/3+ in the tank. You just have to have it full I guess.

    I have a cat 6 way dozer blade that I just bought used. I can get the blade to angle but not tilt. It's a 79 inch blade and the machine is a 299d2. Which button is supposed to operate the solenoid for the tilt? I may have a fuse or wiring issue. Any help is appreciated.

    I understand what you are saying. But from what I understand, someone correct me if I'm wrong, Cats are not able to high flow in reverse. As in, the pump doesn't have the provision to high flow in reverse.

    I'm pretty sure it's on low flow because cat's don't high flow when you pull the rocker switch back. Only forward.
