    Caterpillar 216B

It states in my Operation and Maintenance Manual that you would use the same as the Engine Crank Case. Each drive chanin box for a 226 will hold 6.0 Liters, which is 1.6 US Gallons. I am going to change mine out on my 242 Cat and going to use Shell Rotella 5W40 synthetic, which is what I use...

    operating cost???

You have to look at what others with simular equipment are charging in your area and be with in reason with them. In my area I am charging $75.00 per hour and travel time, others are about $70.00 to $85.00 per hour. Figure out what insurance, fuel at $3.50 a gallon, wages and repairs cost...

Converting over 3 point implements to run off a skid steer??

I looked at doing the same thing and was told by a guy at hydraulic shop that I would need at least 27 GPM. My machine only has 16 GPM, your machine with the high flow should work. I am thinking of buying one of these motors, and doing some experimenting with different three point attachments...

    A few more trailer questions?

I would go with the heavier, 19# I beam for that size of trailer. If it was a tandem 7000 pound axle 16# I beam would be heavy enough IMO. PJ and H&H are nice trailers.

    My New Trailer

I have the reese goose hitch, which has the rails so you can take it out and put in a fifth wheel hitch to pull fifth wheel camper. On the short box pick-up they reconmend it to be two inches behind the rear axles. If you pull a camper you have the clearance, and do not take out the back...
