My 580B can not even move!!!

Phil Just wanted to let you know that the problems with my 580b travel have been corrected now. Replacing the shuttle pump relief valve spring and ball, cleaning the suction tube screen and cleaning the shuttle tube of old gasket material has done the trick. Thank you guy's for all the advise.

My 580B can not even move!!!

Phil Thanks for the info. I have ordered the new spring and ball from Case they have to get it from California. You said adding one washer raises the relief pressure approximately 25psi. Do you know how much adding a shim to the regulator valve spring will increase its' psi? I don't think...

It was some old permaseal and some gasket material. Pieces of the gasket seems to be breaking down and falling into the shuttle tube. I inspected...

Phil Thanks again for the info!!! I was able to check the discharge pressure at the filter housing last night. The pressure at a fast idle was about 175 psi and at high rpm only up to 195 psi. The pressure actually dropped back to about 155 psi for a few seconds when I first increased the rpm...

My 580B can not even move!!!

Airr and Phil Thanks for the info! I will try these checks this week. Is the shuttle pickup tube screen accessible with a long magnet rod, by removal of the shuttle dip stick cover plate? The history of my machine is,it runs great but the lack of mobility has been increasing for a while, it...
