    Bobcat 863 High Flow Problem

Behind the access cover on the left hand side under the loader arm you should find a valve block that looks like the picture. #4 is the high flow solenoid. It must be activated for high flow to function. Check for voltage there when the high flow is engaged. What is the serial number of your...

    Bobcat 863 High Flow Problem

I believe that is a high flow pump so you're good there. It's probably just an electrical problem. Hold down the headlight button and tell us what codes flash on the hour meter. Also just to be clear, with the standard auxiliary hydraulics activated and functional nothing happens when you press...

    Bobcat 863 High Flow Problem

Are you sure it's equipped with high flow hydraulics? Lift the cab and look at the gear pump. If high flow it will have two outlets as opposed to just one outlet for low flow.

    Bolt type

If you can find a parts diagram that shows the bolts it will probably list the thread size. Or if you can measure the inside of the female thread you can probably figure it out from the minor diameter (which is what you're measuring). It will probably be a Unified National Course thread.

    Case 1840 questions

Do yourself a big favor and shell out the dough for a nice new suspension seat. I highly recommend a Michigan/Milsco V5300 but anything is good. Your back will thank you.

    Bobcat S250 excessive blow by

If you buy it plan on replacing the engine. The only causes of excessive blowby on that rig are going to either be major mechanical damage (broken rings, melted piston, spun bearing, etc) or just being plain worn out. Hours mean nothing on equipment. A compression test can help narrow down the...

    Looks good to me!

    Gehl 4640 ???

Looks like a solid buy. A little rust is not the end of the world but definitely get it washed out sooner than later to remove any lingering salt and prevent any further corrosion.

    Sprocket cluster case 1845 B

IIRC on each side of the tandem drive pump there should be a hex head screw with a hole drilled through it. Loosen one or both a few turns to allow the corresponding side to freewheel. Also pull the lap bar down to disengage the parking brake pins.

Case 420 CT Console EIC flashing setup

Thanks for the update. At least you didn't have to shell out $1300 for a new one. Was the machine stored outside? I'm worried about mine now.

    Case 1840 arms won’t lower…

The self leveling valve looks like this. I'm not sure where it is on an 1840 but look low down around the hydraulic reservoir and gas tank. Its pretty small and may be hidden by hoses, dirt, etc. I highly recommend just bypassing the self leveling valve. It's very easy to do and it may save you...

    Case 1840 arms won’t lower…

Sounds like you hooked the auxiliary valve up wrong. Double check the hose connections and also the linkage to make sure the valve is in neutral when your foot isn't touching it.

    Case 1840 arms won’t lower…

It would be best not to cap it off anywhere. Right now the fluid is trying to go from the pump, through the loader valve, out the power beyond to the auxiliary foot valve, and then back to the tank. The only thing you can cap off without causing a problem are the work ports of the auxiliary...

    Case 1840 arms won’t lower…

What do you mean you "tied off the auxiliary system?" Iirc if you simply capped off the power beyond port in the loader control valve the system will act as though there is too high a load on the auxiliary circuit and it will bypass through the pressure relief which will prevent the boom...

    Case 85xt 4-390 share with a 4bt?

You can drop in a either a 4B or a 4BT but a 4B is naturally aspirated and will have significantly less horse power.
